  • Remembrance Day Service

    Fri 10 Nov 2017
Today we held a Remembrance Day service in the playground, led by Mr Lett, a  member of the Royal Navy Reserve, as well as a teacher at our school. We were joined by lots of parents who admired the ceramic poppies made by the children. We worked with Bay House to have these ceramic poppies put into a kiln and glazed.  It was a touching service and we very much enjoyed sharing it with members of the local community.
  • Haselworth Bug House

    Thu 02 Nov 2017

On Tuesday afternoon Puffins class walked to Gosport Park to collect natural materials for the schools giant bug house, which has been made using wooden pallets.

The children collected twigs, bark, leaves, conker shells, and pine cones to fill the gaps to attract wildlife to our school grounds.

The class returned to school and all helped to push the material into the gaps, completing the project. Now we just need the bugs to move in!

  • Table tennis tournament

    Wed 18 Oct 2017 J Millard

Our bold table tennis players took on three other teams in a league competition. Despite the lack of tables for practice in our school, the children took on the opposition with gusto and one of the best attitudes in school sport I have seen. Sporting, instinctive fair play, and gracious in winning and defeat. Well done Haselworth!
