Welcome

Welcome to Haselworth Primary School!

It gives me great pleasure to introduce myself to you as the Headteacher of Haselworth Primary School. I am very aware of the great responsibility that my staff and I have in ensuring that the highest standards of teaching, learning and pastoral care are maintained at Haselworth Primary School.

I feel very privileged to lead this school and to be entrusted with the building upon the Haselworth Way and the successes that have been achieved over recent years. The team at Haselworth are rightly proud of the recent OFSTED result. We have a committed staff and wonderful children. I believe that this school can build upon its current strengths and the relationship between pupils, parents and staff will be crucial. By working together, we can strive to ensure that our children flourish in an ever changing world so that they can dream, believe and succeed.

As the leader of the school, my priority is to make sure your child is safe, happy and has the life skills to succeed. The needs of your child are paramount in the decision making which will always be made in the best interest of every child. I have high expectations of the children so I will continue to expect excellent behaviour as well as a positive attitude to learning which the staff will support the children in achieving. Through exciting, creative, rich and meaningful learning experiences that excite curiosity and enthuse learning, it is the aim of the whole school team to help each child become a successful , well-rounded individual who is ready to make the next steps in their learning journey.

It is important that you have a voice and that as a school we are approachable. I will be holding regular Headteacher tea and chat meetings where refreshments will be provided. There will also be many regular opportunities for engaging with the school including the newsletter, curriculum workshops, assemblies, school or community events and social media. This will be in addition to the termly parents' evening and end of year reporting. Also, I will endeavour to be at the gate before and after school where I look forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks.

As a school we want to secure the best possible outcomes for the pupils, parents and community. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you in advance for your continued support of Haselworth Primary School and I look forward to working with you in the future.

Best wishes,

Mrs Natasha Jones

Headteacher
