PE Shang Dynasty Lesson 3
Ok, we've so far covered shapes and individual balances from gym, and fitness exercises. This week we practise our final element, some martial moves. I have to say first of all that I am not an expert!
Do some warm up stretches first. Please do not do the moves quickly, and keep the kicks slow. Even with a prior warm up, kicks that are too vigorous risk pulling a muscle.
These moves do not involve contact with anyone else, and we are not 'fighting'. It is another way of developing control of our body through a focus on core strength and movement.
Next week we will start to put all three sets of moves together.
