New Playground Markings!
As you may remember, last year the playground was resurfaced which meant the loss of the playground markings. The Young Governors began researching possible new markings and visited a local school. They worked together to come up with some ideas and then presented their recommendations to the Governors and myself during a committee meeting. They produced a convincing argument and we were very impressed with the way they approached the task. Then, the school set about gathering quotes for the work which was completed last term and a local contractor was selected to complete the project.
Whilst the school was closed and the contractor was still able to work we were lucky enough to be able to have the playground markings completed. The Young Governors certainly made the right choice. Below you will see a range of photographs of our new playground markings. I am sure the children will love their new playground and I look forward to being able to see them all use it at some point in the near future.
