Day 4 at Osmington
Thu 22 Oct 2015Still no wifi. We are really sorry.
Another great day at Osmington bay! Children all asleep by 10pm last night and didn't want to get up this morning. After a hearty breakfast we set off to the Olympic sailing centre on Portland for kayaking. We met some hopefuls for the Team GB sailing team and talked to them. We had lots of fun in the water and Caroline beat Mrs Daniels at sumo wrestling whilst standing on top of a kayak!
We had to concentrate whilst rifle shooting, and everyone survived. Another challenge lay ahead with rock climbing with lots of children reaching the summit. This evening we are donning our glad rags, having yet another shower, before strutting our stuff on the disco floor.
We'll keep in touch with our return time tomorrow.

Osmington Day 3
Wed 21 Oct 2015They still don't have any wifi at Osmington Bay so Mrs Ashman has sent me the message below.
" Had a great day today despite rain in the morning. Abseiling, low ropes, zip wire and tunnelling today plus more amazing food. All children challenged themselves today and had great fun. Room inspections- both boys chalets far tidier than girls. All had showers (even if they didn't want to) Good campfire last night with other schools. All asleep by 11pm last night, aiming for 10pm tonight, and we are waking everyone up in the morning, got a few grumpy ones who don't like being woken up! Luckily Mrs Daniels is good at getting these out of bed!"

Osmington Day 2
Tue 20 Oct 2015Mrs Steele visited today. The children are having a fantastic time and slept well last night. Today they have been sailing at the Olympic Sailing Acadamy in Portland, played aeroball and done archery. They finished the day by taking part in a campfire. Photos to follow soon. -
Osmington Day1
Mon 19 Oct 2015We've arrived safely at Osmington, after spending a lovely day climbing and walking in the woods and building dens. We've had an enormous dinner and are taking part in a "Pirate Challenge" tonight.

Osmington Year 6 News
Mon 19 Oct 2015The children have all arrived safely and enjoyed their day at Moors Valley Country Park. I will be visiting tomorrow, so I will update photos tomorrow evening. -
Stay & Play Sessions
Tue 13 Oct 2015We will be running Stay & Play sessions for the children starting school in September 2016.
These will take place on Friday 6th November @ 1.15pm and Monday 16th November @ 9.30am.
Visits to the school are always welcome and we would love for you to come and join us!

Sunshine Parent Lunch

New playground games
Thu 01 Oct 2015The children have loved playing with the new outdoor games that Mrs Wilson bought them when she left the school. They have been enjoying the challenges of Jenga and dominos. A big thank you goes out to Mrs Wilson for her kind gift.
