Job/Person Summary

Haselworth Primary School is a popular small community school in the heart of Gosport. The school has high expectations of all children and adults and is committed to the all-round development of every child.

We are looking for a new Headteacher to start in April 2019, who has exceptional leadership skills and who can take the school forward from good to outstanding.

We are looking for a Headteacher who:

  • Can develop a clear understanding of the school and the steps needed to move forward.
  • Has high expectations of staff and children, and leads by example.
  • Will maintain the current caring school ethos and the Haselworth Way.
  • Can inspire and motivate staff and children to achieve standards in all areas of the curriculum.
  • Is a passionate leader who has a good understanding of excellent teaching and learning.
  • Has proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Enjoys their role and inspires others to achieve their best.
