Our latest newsletter was sent home on Friday 24th October.  Attached was the annual parent questionnaire.  Please take a few minutes to fill this in as it really helps the school to see what we do well and where we need to improve.  Mrs Wilson reads every single one that is returned, and shares the findings with all staff and governors. A summary will also be shared with parents and posted here on the website. 

There is a page at the back for you to add any other constructive feedback.

Please return all questionnaires either to the school office or send them in to class with your child in the first week after half term.

Year 6 arrived at Osmington Bay safe and sound yesterday.  They had a stop off at Moors Valley Country Park on the way which they thoroughly enjoyed. 
There was a large, collective gasp of breath as they caught a first glimpse of Osmington Bay and they seem very impressed so far! 
All the children were fast asleep by 11.30pm. 
Everyone is enjoying themselves.

Parent and teacher meetings were held on Monday 13th and Tuesday 14th October!
Thank you for those adults who came - it was great to share information about your children's learning, and find out more about them as individuals!

Year 5 and 6 have been learning about the Ancient Greeks this half term through our enquiry ‘Eureka!’.
 
For our final outcome, the children voted to put on a living museum/ workshop.  We would like to invite you to this event – held in the hall on Thursday 16^th October 2014, from 2pm to 2:45pm. 
 
The children have worked in groups to present something related to the Ancient Greeks – some groups chose to create a game, some have created a presentation and others have written information for you.  They will have the opportunity to lead their activity to show you as well as children in Sultan class.
 
If you would like to take your child home at 2:45pm, please speak to me before you do so.  Alternatively, you can meet your child on the playground at 3pm as normal.
